Friday night's Mega Millions lottery drawing is at an all time record of $500+ million dollars and growing. What would you do with half a billion dollars?

We see people on the news every time there is a winner saying "I just don't know what I'm going to do with all that money". Well, if you don't know what you would do with it, give it away. You will be better off in the long run.

Look at how many people have won millions of dollars and are currently sitting in the poor house. I know exactly what I would do with the money.

First of all I would take the cash option. That would be $389 Million. I would take the cash option because I don't want to wait for my money and stretch it out. It's $389 Million, I don't need to be greedy.

Second, I would pay the taxes immediately. How many lottery winners have "forgotten" to do that and wind up in all kinds of trouble?

With what is left I would donate 15% to various charities.

At that point, word will have gotten out that I was a winner and long lost relatives will be crawling out of the woodwork. That's the point that I will tell them no. Family and money don't mix.

The rest of the money will be invested in various ventures from businesses that will make more money, to land, to stocks. I might just decide to buy 98 Country.

At that point, I will move to another state, change my name and live out the rest of my days.

Ok, that's my plan, now I'm off to buy my winning ticket. (In other words, I'll see you back on the air Monday afternoon!)
