I am a dog person. The only movies that make me cry are the ones where the dog dies. I don't like to cry, I want to be happy. So, a feel-good dog story is just what I needed.

Naki’o is the first dog to ever to have a complete set of bionic legs. It took a few days for Naki’o to get used to them but now he can run, jump and even swim. He’s lucky to be alive.

Naki’o was found abandoned, starving and stuck in a frozen puddle in Nebraska last winter. He was taken to an animal rescue center and, under the shelter’s care, Naki’o's paws, lost to severe frostbite, healed to rounded stumps.

A vet tech, Christie Tomlinson, organized a fundraiser to pay for Naki’o to have his two back legs fitted with prosthetics. He did so well that Orthopets, the company that manufactures the prosthetics, decided to complete the process free of charge.

And now he’s not just a dog – he’s a BIONIC DOG! Check out his moves.
