Meet Mojo!

"Mojo" is a male Pomeranian/Purebred who is just over 4 years old.  He's very well behaved and very friendly to other people and animals.

Some smaller breeds are territorial and can be a little moody at times, but "Mojo" let anyone hold him and was a complete sweetheart.

Here's his story from the Tri-County Humane Society.

He was brought to the shelter due to the family had too many animals.  Will need some help getting on and off the furniture due to his size and an old injury, for any questions please see a staff member. Mojo has lived with cats and other dogs but he would prefer a friend that is closer to his size Mojo spent some time in Foster Care, from his foster family we learned some new things about him Mojo likes to be asked if he has to go outside, if he is taken out often he will not have accidents in the house.  He is not a fan of toys and is scared of squeaky toys. He will play "Bat the finger" kind of like a cat!   Mojo doesn't like to be brushed or have his back (feet/tail) touched on the other hand he loves gentle belly rub Mojo loves to sit on peoples laps, but doesn't like someone else coming up to interrupt his cuddle session.  He will dance in circles for treats, his favorite treats are "Beggin' Littles" and "Dog Trail mix", Used to roam the house when left alone.

 

He Likes to be on the couch and will sleep with you if you let him, also likes to sleep in a comfy bed next to your bed .  Mojo would do best with a harness instead of a collar. His little neck is very sensitive and he does not know how to properly walk on a leash yet When he doesn't want to walk further outdoors, he will just lie down and wait to be picked up.  Mojo likes to go under cars, so be careful not to let that happen!  Thank you to Boysen Animal Hospital for Mojo's dental and neuter.  Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, micro-chipping, vaccinating, de-worming, any medical procedures and general care.
