ST. CLOUD - A man was tased and arrested in Stearns County court on Monday after allegedly not listening to orders from court deputies.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says 26-year-old Christopher Myrhe was making a court appearance on a 4th degree assault charge.

He appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and was ordered to be tested for intoxication. He became aggressive and resisted arrest when court deputies became involved.

Myrhe was eventually tased and brought to Stearns County Jail. Once there, a search of him allegedly revealed some medication that he didn't have a prescription for.

Myrhe was held on charges of 5th degree controlled substance, disorderly conduct and obstructing the legal process.
