Stephen Barker Liles' family unwrapped a pretty incredible gift on Christmas in 2016: The Love and Theft member and his wife Jenna are expecting their second child, the artist revealed on Monday (Dec. 26), and on Christmas Day (Dec. 25), they learned the baby's gender as they were opening presents.

A press release reports that Barker Liles and his wife decided to keep their new addition's gender a surprise until Christmas morning. While opening gifts, the couple and their son Jett opened up a box containing an "It's a Girl!" balloon; readers can press play above to watch the special moment.

"We could have found out the sex of the baby [before now], but it was worth the wait," Barker Liles says. "We couldn’t be more excited ... We both come from big families and are excited to start our own big family."

Barker Liles and his wife, who have been married since Aug. 24, 2014, have not yet decided on a name for their new baby girl. Jett recently turned three, on Dec. 2.

Love and Theft released their latest single, "Candyland," in the fall. In March, Barker Liles and duo partner Eric Gunderson signed on with Curb Records, after releasing their previous project independently.
