Location Of Renaissance Festival Up In The Air [VIDEO]

For the last three decades the Renaissance Festival has been held in Shakopee but that could change by 2017.

According to a Kare11 story, the land the Renaissance Festival is held on is also used for mining.  There is a lack of limestone where they have been mining so by 2017, they will have to start in the spot where the festival takes place.

This comes as no surprise to the company that puts on the festival each year, they knew it was not a matter of if they would have to relocate but when.  They are currently working with the company that owns the land to come up with a resolution.

I think it would be cool if they could find a venue to host it around the St. Cloud area.  What do you think, if the festival has to move, where do you think a good location would be?
