St. Cloud State senior Drew LeBlanc agreed to a 1-year contract with the Chicago Blackhawks Friday.  LeBlanc the same day won the Hobey Baker award given to the top Division I college hockey player in the nation.  He had 50 points in 42 games this season for SCSU.

The 6-0 195 pound senior is 23 years old and is a Hermantown native.  The St. Cloud State men's hockey team lost in the Frozen Four National Semifinals Thursday in Pittsburgh.  Yale will play Quinnipiac tonight at 6pm for the National Championship, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 5:30.
