Winter Storm Watches & Warnings have been posted for Southern Minnesota for Wednesday and Wednesday night — with 3-6″ expected in the Twin Cities, and 9-12″ on the way for Albert Lea and Rochester. We’re expected to get little to none of the white stuff here in St. Cloud. No big travel concerns for Easter weekend. Happy Spring!
This afternoon from the National Weather Service: Heavy snow will impact southern MN and western/central WI Wednesday, with 6-12+” likely in these areas. The Twin Cities are currently forecast to see 3-6″, with heaviest amounts in the south and east metro area. There will be a sharp cutoff in snow amounts over the Twin Cities, so small shifts in the storm track could cause significant changes to the forecast.
