The St. Cloud Rox (16-19) were routed by the Larks 12-2 in a rain-shortened game Monday night in Bismarck.

Landon Stephens got the scoring going for St. Cloud in the top of the fourth inning, with a solo home run to left field. It was his third of the season at Bismarck Municipal Ballpark and his fifth against the Larks. The other scoring inning for the Rox came in the seventh inning. Jack Barrie doubled to left field and was later scored on a Sean Ross double.

Will Warren made the start on the mound for the Rox, striking out six batters in just over three innings pitched. Spencer Mraz pitched three and two thirds innings, giving up three hits and striking out three batters. Sergio Esparza pitched the eighth inning, making it back-to-back nights he has seen work on the mound

The Rox will close out the series tonight with the first pitch scheduled for 7:35. It will be the final game of the year between Bismarck and St. Cloud. (Radio: 1390 KXSS)
