Lakes Jam Artist Chris Hawkey Surprises Minnesota 5th Graders With Special Concert [VIDEO]

Minneapolis native and Lakes Jam artist Chris Hawkey is one cool guy and he gave some Minnesota 5th graders a memorable last day of school.

According to a story from KARE 11 some students in a 5th grade math class really like Chris Hawkey's song The Underdog.  It's about proving people wrong and the class would listen to it each day as they worked on their math problems.

One day the kids decided to write letters to Chris telling him what the song meant to them. That's when Chris decided to do something to really wow these students.

What an incredible way to pay back your fans!  I can't wait to catch his performance at Lakes Jam!
