Lady Antebellum Takes A Big Risk For Their New Album “GOLDEN”

Lady Antebellum took on some risks with their new album "Golden", set for release on May 7, when they wanted to make it sound more southern-rock than a complete country album.

The first single is called "Downtown" and I think it's a fun song and basically -- today's country has more of "southern-rock" sound rather than the country classic "twang" sound. I've only listened to "Downtown" so far too, but we'll know soon enough if Lady A's risk pays off or was a bad idea.
