Lady Antebellum still plan to take their fans downtown on the Take Me Downtown Tour, but the entire run of dates has been postponed, with a new start date in early 2014.

The trio, who announced fall tour dates soon after Hillary Scott delivered her baby girl, just revealed they will be moving their tour into the new year. Although the band has been vague on reasoning, they did mention that the massive re-scheduling has been done to accommodate the new release of 'Compass' and give fans the best show possible.

The big announcement was made via Lady A's official website. "We hope you are loving 'Compass' as much as we are. We're really excited about the Deluxe version of GOLDEN coming out in November and all the events and performances we'll be doing around its release, but we're most excited about getting to play this new music live for you!" the post reads.

The announcement continues, "To accommodate the new release and in order to give you guys the best show possible, we've had to move things around on our tour schedule. The 1st leg of the TAKE ME DOWNTOWN TOUR with Kip and Kacey will now kick off on Jan. 10th in Peoria, IL. We hope these changes aren't too much trouble for you, and that we'll get to see you in one of the more than 60 cities the tour will hit next year."

Lady A have encouraged fans to check their website often, as they'll be posting updates about the new tour dates, promising to be in touch over the next few weeks. They ended the sad news with: "We are sorry for the inconvenience, we love you guys, and we're excited to see you on the road!"

The band's new first tour date is scheduled for Jan. 10, 2014, and it looks like they're still trying to rearrange much of the schedule. Although it's super disappointing for fans, it's encouraging to know that the trio wants their concert to be a 'golden' experience, and are doing everything they can (even if it means postponing) to ensure they're able to give their all onstage.
