A benefit concert to support Gregg Lohman, the drummer in Kellie Pickler's band, is scheduled for Monday, April 1. The show is being staged to raise money to help offset the costs of Lohman's medical bills after a serious car accident earlier this month.

Lohman is currently recuperating at home, and a full recovery is expected.

However, the expenses are adding up, even though he has health insurance. The concert, which will take place at Douglas Corner Café in Nashville from 7 to 11PM, will feature members of Pickler's band, The Beagles, Raisin' Cain, 7 Bridges, a house band including members of Poco, Pure Prairie League, Tracy Lawrence’s band and Aaron Tippin’s band. A jam session featuring prominent Nashville pro musicians is also planned.

More participants are being added on a daily basis.

A $10 minimum donation is being requested from all attendees and performers. A silent auction of music gear donated by Regal Tip and other manufacturers will also take place. All the proceeds will go directly to Lohman.

Additional donations can be sent as checks made to Gregg Lohman and mailed to Concert for Gregg, 3341 Towne Village Road, Antioch, TN, 37013.
