'American Idol' judges Keith Urban and Randy Jackson along with 'Idol' host Ryan Seacrest visited Jay Leno on 'The Tonight Show' last week to discuss the upcoming season of the hit singing competition show which kicks off Wednesday (Jan. 16th), but that wasn't the only thing that come up in the interview...check out what Jay dug up out of Keith Urban's past.

Yup, he went there. Jay Leno capitalized on the opportunity to embarrass Urban on his show last week by bringing up a spread Keith shot for 'Playgirl' back in 2002. Keith had a good sense of humor about it, even questioning Jay as to how he came across the photos.

Of course Jay brought up the feud between fellow 'Idol' judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj which had Keith stuck in the middle of the dueling women, and it seems like everything has settled down now.

The 12th season of 'American Idol' does come with a few changes. Small town singers got a shot to audition for the show when an 'Idol' bus made stops in more rural areas, giving a chance to singers that couldn't make it to one of the big city auditions. Also a new feature called 'Nominate an Idol' let friends and family members secretly nominate a contestant.

So it looks like the show has freshened up a bit, I'm looking forward to watching the new season, that's for sure! Tune in to FOX on Wednesday January 16th at 7PM central for the premiere.
