Aussie Keith Urban and America's sweetheart Taylor Swift both represented country music in the nominations for the 2013 ARIA Awards, which are like Australia's version of the Grammys. Urban's name showed up with two nominations attached to it, while Swift received her nod in the International Artist category.

Urban was nominated for Best Male Artist for his latest hit single 'Little Bit of Everything,' as well as Best Australian Live Act for his the Story So Far Tour. After hearing the news, he couldn't help but tweet his excitement, posting that he was "insanely honored."

Swift, who should continues to rack up awards and nominations by the boatload, was nominated for 'Red' in the Best International Artist category, since she's not from Down Under.

Swift has some stiff competition, but she certainly could prevail. Her 'Everything Has Changed' duet partner and Red tourmate Ed Sheeran is also nominated, as are Bruno Mars, One Direction, Pink and more.

The 27th ARIA Awards are less than two months away. They take place on Dec. 1 in Sydney, Australia. Good luck to two of country music's finest -- Urban and Swift! We hope they win in their respective categories.
