Despite rumors suggesting otherwise, it seems like Keith Urban is really enjoying his new gig as a judge on 'American Idol'. Season 12 of the hit singing competition show kicks off in January and the network is ramping up its promo ads. The latest one stars our beloved Keith Urban, check it out.

Fox has taken a whole new approach on their commercials for this upcoming season, and if you ask me, I think they're nervous. Last year 'Idol' ratings fell significantly and with 'The Voice' gaining in popularity, I think 'Idol' will struggle again this year.

Well if it makes any difference to you, Keith Urban seems to think they have seen some real talent come through the audition doors...so you can either take his word for it, or tune in when season 12 kicks off in January.
