Federal Judge David Doty has overturned Adrian Peterson's suspension by the NFL. The judge ruled that the NFL's arbitrator overstepped his authority in suspending Peterson, and has sent the case back to the league. Where this leaves the relationship between Peterson and the Vikings is unclear.

Both Minnesota Vikings' head coach Mike Zimmer, and general manager Rick Spielman have said publicly that they want Adrian Peterson back on the field in a Vikings jersey. Adrian Peterson is under contract with the Vikings through 2015, with a base salary of $12.75 million.
