A seemingly out-of-place comment by Minnesota Viking's running back Dalvin Cook following a win over the Packers has been revealed as a Jimmy Fallon gag.

If you stuck around for the post-game interview after the MN Vikings beat the Green Bay Packers 28-22 November 1, you may have been left scratching your head by an unusual comment made by Dalvin Cook. After being asked by a reporter how he felt after being named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week, Cook responded "Just going out there and working hard. I run yards like Swiss Chard. That's what it is." No one seemed to know what his comment meant exactly...until two weeks later.

In a segment aired on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon titled "Drop It In," Fallon revealed that he'd asked NFL players to drop in ridiculous lines during their post-game interviews. Cook was one of those players.

D. K. Metcalf of the Seattle Seahawks was another player. During his interview, he smoothly dropped in a reference to Pokemon, comparing touchdown passes and pokemon to something he's gotta catch.

While most players managed to drop in their Fallon-fed comments without trouble, Tampa Bay's Rob Gronkowski found himself hot water after a reporter asked him to clarify a reference "his mom used to say -- 'Must be maple syrup, cause butter don't drizzle like that.'" When asked to elaborate, he rambled on "syrup drizzles, you gotta make that play. And a stick of butter, it's a block -- you gotta put it in the microwave, to melt it, that just takes too long. You gotta make that play right away, baby, and that's why- that's why I'm like maple syrup, that's why she [his mom] used to say that, cause I'm quick with it, I just drizzle all over the place."
