When I was younger, there was no way you'd get me to listen to an entire album unless it was Shania Twain.  Now I'm realizing how much you miss out on by not checking out the entire project.

When I'd get CDs or tapes, I'd always just listen to the songs I knew.  Then Shania Twain came along and I was obsessed with her music.  As time went by, there were certain artists that I could listen to their albums from beginning to end.  They were my absolute favorites.

I realize now that if you only know one tune on an album you should still give the others a try.  You don't know what you're missing out on until you do that and you just might find a song that you really like.  I do this now more than ever because I have to opportunity to do album reviews so even if it's not my favorite artist, I'm still at least flipping through and giving each track a listen.

Do you just listen to the songs you know on an album or do you listen to the whole thing?
