Over the last few days I've been taking part in the 'Get Happy' study that's taking place in the Monticello and Buffalo communities.  It's so awesome, that I want to bring you in on it too!

The 'Get Happy' study is one of resilience and it aims to show that focusing on positive things each day can make us happier and healthier.  I've been doing this since Monday and I think there's some truth to this.

Each night I get a text message asking me to log three good things that happened to me that day.  It can be anything from spending time with a friend to receiving a compliment.  It can be something small to something huge.

Once that is sent I get another text message asking about good things that have happened to other people in my life that day.  It can be something you did for them or it doesn't have to be.

So, how has this inspired me?  Well, I think it's a good thing to focus on the positive and I think it does make a difference.  So here's what I want you to do -- it's the simplest request ever -- tell me one good thing that's happened to you today.  Yep, it's that easy!
