Minnesota has been ranked as the best state to live in (tied with New Hampshire) by Politico Magazine. That's up one spot from last year, and is based on things like income, unemployment, poverty, housing, education, health, and crime. Mississippi has found the bottom of another list.

Vermont, Utah, and Colorado round out the top five. The worst states to live in? #50 Mississippi, #49 Louisiana, #48 Arkansas, #47 Tennessee, #46 Alabama.

Regionally, Iowa is #7 on the list followed by North Dakota (15), Wisconsin (17), and South Dakota (21).
