WHAT IS NATIONAL JOYGERM DAY?

Yes...National Joygerm day, January 8th of each year, is a day where we can try to go above and beyond doing something nice for someone else. Open a door; give a compliment; be kind to someone.  It was founded by a woman named Joan White in 1981. She owned an advertising agency many years ago called, "Joan of Art." Clever.

The day was created to remind people across that country that by treating people with kindness, they can and DO influence those around them, and help pass that positive attitude on to others.

That person that is always crabby; never has a good day; has nothing to do but complain complain complain; Give them a compliment; Give them something positive to think about.

HOW TO OBSERVE JOYGERM DAY?

  • Go out of your way today, to think positive thoughts, and do, say, think, and be kind to as many people as you can.
  • Share kindness on social media. #nationaljoygermday
