IT'S LOVE NOTE DAY

The 4th Friday in September each year, is LOVE NOTE DAY. Ned & I asked you to write a love note today to your favorite, person, place, or thing...Whatever it might be. Since I don't want to embarrass my significant other with a love note broadcast to the world, I thought I'd pick my favorite "THING."  My piano.

Dear Piano,

I love how you sing to me...I love to push your pedals and tickle your keys...(Shhh...Don't tell anyone...It's our little secret). Whether you're ready to play or not, you're always waiting for me...silently...for inspiration...when we spend hours getting lost in the music.

It doesn't matter to me that you keep it black and white...or that you're demo sounds better than anything we've created together...We never give up on each other. Thank you for always being there.

I'll love you forever piano....I don't know why I've never given you a name..but...piano...you are...so...piano.

If I could write a love note to who I love the most it would be to my 4 children, my German Shorthair Pointers, Cash & Mocha, my dad & step mom, my grandpa Joe and of course my fiance, Micah.

Dear,

Each day I look forward to spending time with you. The mornings at 5 oclock are the best.Sometimes we get to enjoy each other's company more than once a day. Love it when I get to have you snuggled up in a blanket on a rainy day. I Love to spice  you up a little bit, and have my friends jealous they don't have you. You comfort me after a hard day, and put a smile on my fave each morning I take in the amazing way you smell. Thank you for always being there for me.

COFFEE you are my best friend😅

If I could write a love note I would write one to my dog I love you for all the secrets you have kept for the last 4 years and let me tell you those are a lot of secrets. And you are the best dog that I have ever had. I know you trained yourself most of the time but you are still my hero I love you.

I love it when I wake up on a fall September morning to retrieve the garbage can from the end of the driveway and find that I have to shower again because it feels like I just spent time walking through the Brazilian Rain Forest!!

Dear Pumpkin Spiced Boom Chicka Pop Popcorn,

With one small kernel of your lusciousness in my mouth, I knew we would were meant to be together.

It’s the way you tease me, taunt me, call to me even after I locked you away in the closet, you naughty, naughty, popcorn.

But I’m well aware that I’m not the only woman in your life. That’s the chance I took when we met.

And Because I know that as the seasons change, you will disappear from my life, and I will be left with nothing but memories and sticky fingers, I’m going to say good-bye.

Someday I’ll be stronger, and maybe then we’ll be able to be together. Farewell, my dear Pumpkin Spiced Boom Chicka Pop Popcorn. You were the best I’ve ever had.

DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE PERSON, PLACE OR THING?
