Do you remember in middle school when you made a solar oven out of glass and tinfoil? It took like an hour to bake a chocolate chip cookie, but it worked.

Well, it's going to be 95 degrees Fahrenheit today which is the minimum outdoor temperature you need in order to bake cookies in your car! It's the same sort of idea as the solar oven.

You want the inside of the car to reach 165 degree Fahrenheit in order to make sure any bacteria from the raw eggs get killed. Park your car in direct sunlight to heat it up and keep all of the doors and windows closed. Put a thermometer next to the cookies so you can monitor the temperature. You'll want to check on them periodically.

It's going to take quite awhile for this to work, so make sure you don't have anywhere to go.

Try this out and let us know how your cookies turn out!!
