I got the opportunity to check out an incredible parade this weekend.  Let's just say, it's not quite what I expected.

My brother works for a family in a small town near Monticello and each year they put on a parade for the kids in their area.  It's a pretty private affair in their neighborhood but I got the chance to check it out this past weekend and I was impressed.  It was doubly sweet because my brother actually participated in the parade itself.

It's farm country and folks showed off their farm pride with a vast array of tractors.  There were some beautiful machines out there.  Check out the video to see what I'm talking about.

I haven't gotten in to parades since I was a kid but I found this one to be fun because it was a bit like a history lesson.  So many old tractors and you just realize how hard farmers had to, and still have to, work.  It was awesome!
