Have you ever just wanted to stay home and hang out with your dog rather than do anything else? According to The New York Post, You're not alone.

More than half of your friends have decided to stay home and hang out with their dog, rather than leave them home alone and go out with you.

I get this! Every morning, I feel so bad leaving Sampson; He KNOWS when I'm going to work. We have a routine. He also knows when it's the weekend; and he expects a little attention. I feel terrible when I don't hang out with him.

The survey also found that dogs help people get through the most stressful events in their life; and I concur. I've had special dogs that protected my children; sat next to me while I cried my eyes out over the loss of a loved one and more. Sampson stayed right next to me the last couple days while I had the flu. He wouldn't leave my side.
