I went to the Minnesota Wild game at the Xcel Energy Center, St. Paul last night. The Wild continued on their losing streak with a score of 3-4 against the Washingtong Capitols, but that didn't matter so much. I went to the game to see local Cathedral High School graduate, Nate Schmidt play defense for the opposing team.

My fiance Dave and I caught up with Schmidt in the locker room after the game for a quick interview to see how he likes playing in the NHL. He seemed extremely happy and energetic--and he was very appreciative of his Minnesota roots. It's safe to say it was a pretty late night for me.

I didn't get back to St. Cloud until about midnight and I was up by 4 a.m. today! Even though the Wild lost last night it was still a pretty good game and I even  witnessed my first hat trick...But, it was scored by the opposing team.

So, after only four hours of sleep last night and a very long day yesterday, I'm up dark and early for the morning show! I'm not as tired as I had thought I'd be which makes me think that maybe I'm dreaming. Thank God it's Friday...I need coffee.
