I’m Not a Fan of the First Snowfall Each Year

There's no doubt that the snow erases the ugliness of late fall but man, the first snowfall is always the worst!

I like snow, although I'd prefer to watch it from the comfort of my own house.  Today's wasn't too bad but overall, I hate being out on the roads during or after snowfall.  Like last year on Veteran's Day when we got dumped on, my 30 minute commute home took me almost three hours!

It was really bad and not only did I worry about my driving but everyone else's too.  I get that you have a big truck with 4 wheel drive but that doesn't mean you're invincible.

Anyway, once that first snow comes it's almost as though you have to retrain yourself to drive and there's always those people who think it's not that bad.  You sometimes see them in ditches or smashed in to something.  I know because I've been there.

You can't avoid the first snow because you're going to have to dive in eventually but you sure do hear of a lot of accidents each year, so just be careful out there!
