I've always known doctors would someday want to study me because of how my brain works and the fact that I'm a little crazy.  Okay, I'm just kidding but I am going to be part of an interesting study over the course of the next two weeks and I'm excited to share it with you.

As of right now, the study is taking place in Buffalo and Monticello.  The whole idea is that focusing on the positives in your life can make you happier and healthier.

From what I understand, each day for the next two weeks I've got to log three good things that happened.  It's only supposed to take a few minutes every night and it can be absolutely anything.  One thing, the study promotes is random acts of kindness but it can be receiving a compliment, spending time with a friend or whatever.

According to the website for this study, you should start to notice a difference in your mood within a week.

That's what I'm looking forward to the most about doing this, is to see how things change. Will I be happier or will it be about the same?  It's that type of question that I'm interested in finding out the outcome!

I will keep you posted and I would love for you to share some of the things that are making your day brighter!
