I’m Counting Down The Days Until My Goddaughter Arrives

When I was a kid I used to wish time away nonstop but as I get older I'm amazed at how quickly time flies.  For the most part I want time to slow down, but I'm just too excited.

Two of my closest friend have three children and another one on the way.  Their oldest is a girl, that I've known pretty much since the day she was born.  I babysat her when she was just little and we were buds.  Their two boys are just adorable and I love all three of them. They have such personality and they say the cutest things.

I found out about two months or so ago that they had a fourth child on the way.  I couldn't be more excited for them.  They revealed they were going to have another daughter who will be making her grand entrance at the beginning of next year! Too cute!

Little did I know it would get better.  I was on my way home from work and I had to make a stop at the grocery store.  I checked my phone and saw I had four message from my friend.  She and her husband had asked if I wanted to be their baby's godmother.  I literally squealed, I was so excited.  I called her right away and of course, I accepted!  It's a huge honor for me.

Therefore, I'm counting down the days till she arrives!  What about you, what are you counting down the days for?
