Yes, this is a thing.  A real, disgusting thing.

According to a Fox News article there's a new study out there that says eating certain bacteria, or bugs, may help with weight loss.  I'm not a science whiz by any means but I can see how this would work.

Here's my take on it:

 

 

It's important to note this has only been tested on mice, not on humans.  If this were true, would you eat bugs to lose weight?
