Pete and I have been talking this morning about how bored we were during the Super Bowl last night. I'm glad I'm not the only one who found myself scrolling through Twitter last night for some stimulation.

The game started off on a really high note. Lady Gaga gave one of the best "Star Spangled Banner" performances I'd ever watched. But, then nothing else really happened.

The game wasn't very close or interesting. The Denver Broncos pretty much had the lead the entire game. They scored first and stayed ahead. I felt a little bad for the Patriots.

The commercials were a major let down this year. There were a few funny ones but nothing that we'll remember over the years. I liked the Doritos commercial, but it's nothing I'll remember a year from now.

The half-time show was OK, I didn't think it was anything special. But, I really liked the tribute to past performances. I think I was expecting a little bit more from Beyonce but Bruno Mars brought it! His dance moves, songs and general performance was on fire. Coldplay did a little better than I expected--probably because I didn't have very high expectations.

All-in-all, I felt like the game, commercials and performances with the exception of Lady Gaga were pretty boring, unmemorable, and honestly a little lame.
