I really like learning new things and I think it's fun to step outside the norm to learn something unrelated to your job.

I learn new things everyday when I'm here which is one of the many reasons I love my job.  I also like to try new things and see what other talents I do (or don't) have.

Last summer I took a photography class with my mom. I really like taking pictures and the class was so much fun but there's a lot they try to teach you in one four hour period. My mom is still taking some different kinds of photography classes and she really enjoys them.  The cool thing is she'll teach me some of the stuff she learns along the way.

I've always wanted to take a quilting class and I'm thinking I might do it soon.  I love blankets and being warm so it'd be perfect!  My great-grandmother came to our house when I was younger and she tried to teach my mom and me how to quilt.  Again, a lot to learn in a short period of time.  She was such a pro and the only thing I can say is her quilts were not pretty.  Everything was so mismatched but they're some of the warmest blankets I own.

What's a skill you'd like to learn?
