I was thinking about all the wonderful things Minnesota has to offer in terms of entertainment, things to do and places to see.  I came up with a huge list and I think there are many things people should try at least once in their lifetime.

If I had to only pick one thing for people to experience, I would say they should take a trip to the Brainerd Lakes area.  There is so much to see and do -- take a boat ride on one of the lakes, shopping, historic places to visit and so many other tourist attractions.  You could be up there for a week and not even see half of the incredible things up there.

When I was a kid we took a day trip up there to Paul Bunyan Land and it was so fun.  My youngest brother, David, absolutely loved the roller coaster and we rode it over and over and over again.  I thought I was going to be sick but he still wanted to keep going.

St. Cloud offers much of the same beauty as the Brainerd area, although in a little different way.  I would still encourage people to visit, explore and learn.

Other things on my list included the Minnesota State Fair, Mall of America, Hinckley Fire Museum, Fort Ripley and Fort Snelling.  There are so many other things that make Minnesota unique.

What do you think everyone should see/experience in Minnesota at least once?
