I served up free root beer floats at the Sartell A&W on Saturday as part of National Root Beer Float Day! I made my ice cream serving debut.

The crew at Sartell A&W was extremely patient with me as I learned the art of creating the perfect root beer float. I eventually got the hang of it and I was surprisingly really good at it! Some might even say I mastered it. My fiance, Dave was there with me--so, of course we had a little friendly competition going to see who could make the most floats. It was a close call, and depending on who you ask, they'd say I won that one.

We served nearly 400 root beer floats while we were there from 2-4 p.m. It's safe to say my arm is still a little sore from working the ice cream machine. Check out some of the photos from this weekend!
