The #10 St. Cloud State Men's Hockey (4-2) team dumped off the University of Alabama-Huntsville (2-7-1) at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center Saturday night 5-2 to complete the weekend sweep of the visiting Chargers.

Alabama-Hunsville took the early 1-0 lead with a goal at 13:41 in the first period, and that's where the score stood at the end of one.

The Huskies came roaring back, lighting the lamp four times in the second period with goals by Patrick Newell, Blake Winiecki, Ryan Poehling, and Jack Ahcan.

The Chargers opened the scoring in the third period with a goal at 10:02 making the score 4-2, but Judd Peterson answered for the Huskies three minutes later securing the 5-2 win.

Next weekend the #10 Huskies host #2 Minnesota-Duluth, Friday and Saturday night at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center. The Bulldogs are coming off a two-game sweep of #1 North Dakota.
