Huskies Take Game 1 From WMU in OT

The St. Cloud State Huskies men's hockey team (28-8-1) topped visiting Western Michigan (8-24-3) 4-3 in overtime last night in the opening game of the best-of-three NCHC playoff series. game two of the series is tonight at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center in St. Cloud.

The puck drops tonight at 7:07. A win for the Huskies tonight would advance them to the NCHC's Frozen Face-off next weekend at the Target Center in Minneapolis. A Western Michigan win tonight would force a series-deciding game-three tomorrow night back at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center.
