Huskies In NCAA Tourney Action This Weekend in St. Paul

The St. Cloud State Huskies men's hockey team has been rewarded for their 31-8-1 record and NCHC championship, with the #1 seed in the NCAA West Region -- to be played this weekend at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. The Huskies are the #2 overall seed in the tournament.

Quinnipiac, who swept SCSU in Connecticut back in October, is the overall #1 seed in the 2016 tournament. NCHC teams make up one quarter of the NCAA tournament field, with North Dakota, Denver, and UMD all getting at-large bids.

The Huskies will open regional action against WCHA Champion Ferris State (19-14-6) this afternoon at 2:00 CT, and can be seen on ESPNews (Charter 814). Tickets are on sale HERE.
