The #3 St. Cloud State Huskies (23-5-1) skated past the Miami University Redhawks (10-13-3) 5-1 last night in Oxford Ohio -- stretching their unbeaten streak to seven games. The win moves SCSU back into a first place tie with North Dakota (idle this weekend) in the NCHC with 41 points each.

St. Cloud State ranks first in the nation with 128 goals and the Huskies rank 2nd in the country with a 4.41 gpg scoring average -- outscoring their opponents 128-59 this season. On defense, the Huskies rank 6th in the nation with an average of 2.03 goals allowed per game. SCSU's Charlie Lindgren leads all Division-I goalies with 22 victories and he ranks 4th in the nation with a .804 winning percentage

Another win tonight at Miami would give the Huskies sole possession of first place in the NCHC. The puck drops at 6:05 PM CT.

Go Huskies!
