Huskies Advance to Frozen Faceoff with Sweep of WMU

The St. Cloud State Huskies men's hockey team (29-8-1) has advance to next weekend's NCHC Frozen Faceoff after a 4-2 win over Western Michigan (8-25-3) Saturday night in St. Cloud. The win completed a two game sweep over the Broncos -- sending the Huskies to the Target Center next Friday & Saturday.

The top-four seeds in the tournament have all advanced to the Frozen Faceoff with sweeps in their respective series -- so joining the Huskies at the Target Center next weekend will be North Dakota, Denver, and Minnesota-Duluth.
