IT'S IMPORTANT TO REFLECT ON THIS PAST YEAR

We all like to celebrate in different ways. There are those of us who will plan all year long to make a trip to Time Square to celebrate with thousands of cold fellow Americans at the biggest party in the country...Then there are those that aren't planning on going anywhere...The best New Year's Eve celebration is staying cuddled up in a blanket at home...in front of the fire, watching the chaos all over the world from your television.

No matter how you celebrate the beginning of a New Year...It is a special holiday.

A NEW BEGINNING

The middle of winter...true...The holidays are over...the gifts have been given. You've had Thanksgiving and went the extra mile to make sure those that you appreciate know how much you mean to them.  Now...here we are. The end of 2018.

A TIME TO LOOK BACK AND REFLECT

What happened this year? What triumphs and tragedies did you see through til the end? What can you change to make this year better than the last? What can you plan on to make it the best year you've ever had?

HOW TO MAKE A PLAN

Simply reflecting on these things is a good start. What happened that left you feeling sad and afraid? What did you do to overcome that fear? Remember that. It will be useful in the future. What exciting things happened to you this year? Singing with Bryan White was certainly exciting for me..As well as being able to interview Garth Brooks and Trisha yearwood...another exciting chapter.  Look at the things you loved about this year...and then look at the things that stressed you out. Maybe you work too much? Maybe you don't make enough time to spend with your kids? Your spouse? Your parents?  Make small adjustments to make sure you can look back on 2019 as your best you and best year ever.
