As much as I love my Minnesota Wild, and as much as I wanted them to beat the pads off the Chicago Blackhawks, and as sad as I am that they lost, I can't help but have a warm feeling in the cockles of my heart for the Hawks' Patrick Kane.

It was overtime in a do or die situation for the Minnesota Wild. Winning meant forcing a game 7, losing meant packing it in.

The Wild gave the Chicago Blackhawks a run for their money this series, but it was Patrick Kane with a lose puck in front of the net and he just flipped it in and with that, sent the Wild packing. Now, they could have been jerks about it, but they weren't. Watch Patrick Kane shake hands afterward with our guys. He tells Erik Haula that he's "fast" Jared Spurgeon he's a "hell of a player" and that he's going to be "sick in this league" and he shows respect for coach Mike Yeo by saying that he's got "a hell of a team".

That, my friends is how you're supposed to act. There are a few men in other sports (Richard Sherman, I'm looking at you) that could take a page out of his book.
