High Winds Snap Trees in Central Minnesota on Monday

SARTELL -- Some high winds did some damage in central Minnesota Monday afternoon.

The National Weather Service issued a High Wind Warning for parts of our listening area late Monday afternoon into the early evening.  At 4:40 p.m., several reports of strong winds estimated between 50 and 60 mph occurring over parts of central Minnesota, especially just north of St. Cloud in the Sartell area. Tree
damage has also been reported.

The Sartell Police Department posted a few pictures of tree damage in their community from the strong winds around 4:30 p.m.
