Prince William and wife, Kate, have a healthy baby boy, weighing in at eight-pounds-six-ounces.

It's the first child for the royal couple, both 31-years-old, and the young prince is now third in line for the British throne, behind his father and grandfather, Prince Charles.

Custom to the royal ways, there has been no name given or even decided on. The new prince-to-be is also the first royal baby born under new laws, "succession laws".

The "succession laws" allows the royal couple's first-born child the right to inherit the throne regardless of gender... but I guess we're still waiting to have to use that law.
