Minnesota is full of tasty, little eateries. We've all got our favorites, and one of mine is Gordy's Hi-Hat in Cloquet. Featured on the Food Network's 'Diner's, Dives, & Drive-Ins,' Gordy's is famous for their burgers, fish sandwiches, onion rings, chili, malts, and more! I pass by twice on every trip to the cabin, usually stopping at least once.

Just last Thursday, they were featured on WCCO-TV's 'Going to The Lake' series.

I stopped in yesterday. Even though I had already eaten lunch, I couldn't pass up a hot fudge malt and some of their onion rings. They show up at 6 am every morning to slice up 400 pounds of fresh, sweet onions.

Gordy and Marilyn Lundquist opened Gordy's in 1960, and is still owned and operated by the Lundquists today. You'll find 'em at 415 Sunnyside Drive, in Cloquet.
