Happy Holidays From My Plant And I To You

I don't have children, and I don't have any pets. I've been seeing so many people on Facebook and Twitter posting the most adorable pictures of their pets and their children all dressed up in their Christmas best.

But, what about people like me? I've always struggled when it came time to remember to water my plants everyday. I've killed nearly 10 plants in the last year alone. There's no way that I could have a kid or a pet at this rate!

There was the plant that I had in the kitchen window, dead. There were the three sunflower plants that I had on my front porch this summer, dead. And there were the two plants that I bought at the end of August to sit on my front steps. Yes, you guessed it--BOTH dead. There were a few others that were sacrificed along the way due to my bad plant parenting as well.

But, for some reason there is a very special plant that has managed to live. It was delivered to me in June--and I'm proud to tell you that it's doing well! I'm a proud plant mom.  In honor of my special bond, I have decided to dress it up in its Christmas best, too!

At this rate, I might be ready to have kids within 10 years! lol Happy holidays from my plant and I to you! P.S. go Vikings!
