Granite City Days: Parade And Karaoke Contest

The Granite City Days Parade kicks off today at 10 a.m. in downtown St. Cloud. The route will start near 12th Avenue North near Hester Park and end by the St. Cloud Public Library.

After the parade, the Paramount Theater will be giving tours and doing art demonstrations at 1 p.m. The tours are open to the public.

The Sing St. Cloud Karaoke contest gets underway at 5 p.m. at Lake George in St. Cloud. Forty singers will be competing for a $1,000 cash prize. Guests can enjoy the beer gardens, food vendors and music until 9 p.m. You're asked to bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the show.

Ashli Gerdes from Minnesota's New Country will be one of the four contest judges.
