Grand Casino Mille Lacs to Start Serving Alcohol

MILLE LACS -- Later this week, guests at Grand Casino Mille Lacs will be able to order a glass of beer or wine while they try their luck. Up until now, it has been a dry casino ever since it opened in 1991.

General Manager Tracy Sam says they're making the change because of customer requests.

Yes, it has been one of the top questions that we receive from our guests.  And, we're just happy that we can bring this amenity to our property here at Mille Lacs.

Sam says they'll start serving beer and wine this Thursday. She says they expect to start offering a full bar by this spring.

Sam says it's part of a remodel of their food and beverage venues.

We will be serving in our B3 restaurant, our 1991 Kitchen, and also our Plum Restaurant.

Sam says you'll be able to take your beer or wine with you throughout the casino.
