Just when it looked like this would be a lost season for the Gophers, they come roaring back in stunning fashion.

The Minnesota Gophers stunned the #1 ranked team in the country, Indiana, 77-73 at Williams Arena Tuesday night.

Trevor Mbakwe led the Gophers with 21 points and 12 rebounds and Andre Hollins added 16 for Minnesota, who virtually assured themselves of a bid in the NCAA tournament with the win.

The Hoosiers led the game by a point with just under five minutes remaining in the second half, but Austin Hollins' basket immediately after gave the Gophers the lead for good.

Minnesota is 19-9 with the win, and Indiana falls to 24-4. The Gophers will host Penn State Saturday afternoon.
