The Minnesota Gophers Football team (4-4) earned their first Big Ten win of the season by defeating the Indiana Hoosiers 38-31 Friday night in Minneapolis.

After leading for most of the game, the Gophers watched the Hoosiers score 22 fourth quarter points to tie the game at 31-31 with 3:57 to go.

Minnesota wasn't finished, and with 1:35 remaining quarterback Tanner Morgan connected with Rashod Bateman on a 67-yard touchdown pass to get the win.

In his first career start, Morgan threw for 302 yards and three touchdowns.
